Keilor

Located on the basin of the Maribyrnong River, Keilor is a picturesque residential and parkland area 17 km northwest of Melbourne. The small population of around 6,000 residents means the neighbourhoods are sociable, safe and welcoming. Keilor is bounded by the Maribyrnong River in the north and east, Taylors Creek in the south and west and the Calder Freeway to the west.

Throughout the Keilor region are several heritage listed churches and buildings, including Overnewton Castle and the Keilor Hotel, as well as Brimbank Park, Horseshoe Bend Children’s Farm, Taylors Creek Linear Park, Keilor Recreation Reserve. Watergardens Town Centre is only 5 km away and the shopping centre is convenient to get to. Due to its proximity to the Calder Freeway and other major roads, accessing schools, retail stores, restaurants and amenities is effortless.
